Hailing from the Idaho Rocky Mountains, drummer Jens Kuross brings a unique sound and energy to the LA jazz scene. Having first developed musically in the Idaho punk rock and bar band scene, he picked up his first jazz gig in a piano trio at the ripe old age of fifteen. He immediately fell in love with jazz, and studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in music performance. He now resides in Los Angeles where he keeps busy playing the local jazz hot spots, leading his own band, and teaching a few lucky students. Jens has gone over 70mph on a snowboard. Jens can kill a marmot at 600yrds. Jens cannot afford health insurance.

Justin Deming is an experimental musician and film composer from Los Angeles, California. Justin has written music for The First 48 on the A&E channel as well as the most recent David Siegel and Scott McGehee film “Uncertainty,” who’s best-known work is “The Bee Season,” which was nominated for a critic’s choice award for best young actress (Flora Cross). Recently Justin has received the 2009 BMI Music Award for the Highest Ranking Television Cable Program, "The First 48" on A&E. Justin’s music has also been used on the NBC show Poker After Dark, The CW shows Smallville, The Game, Privileged, Supernatural, Everybody Hates Chris, 13 – Fear is Real, and in the movie trailer for Into The Blue 2.
While attending music school at USC, Justin played in their top jazz ensemble, the Thornton Jazz Orchestra, and had the pleasure of performing alongside Wynton Marsalis, Quincy Jones, Patti Austin, The Wayne Shorter Band, and Randy Newman among others.
As an artist, he recently released an EP on the acclaimed Centrifuge record label out of England as well as remixed Sublight Records artist Gareth Clarke for The Centrifuge Remix Compilation.
Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), whom Justin did a remix per his request for the “White Limonene” album, has also recognized his talent.
